Former Red Gaming director Ian Rodden has joined 24 Seven Gaming as the company's new development director. Rodden will be responsible for generating new games as well as managing and liaising closely with 24 Seven's existing development partners, including Top Dog Games and Pro V Games. Rodden has more than 30 rears of experience in designing and implementing games within the UK and international 'pay to play business sectors. He was a part owner and director of Red Gaming before it was sold to SG Gaming and, prior to Red Gaming, worked at JPM in research and design. He said "I am thrilled and very excited to be joining a company with such a like-minded passion for this industry. It was important for me to align myself with a company that shared the same philosophies as myself. I have also moved back to South Wales, back to where my journey began in this industry" Simon McCarthy, managing director at 24 Seven, said "Given Ian's heritage in the industry and his product knowledge. he's going to utilise that experience and bring it into the 24 Seven branded experience" McCarthy added that, with Rodden's assistance, the company could begin to develop new titles that broke the mould. "The games will be something very, very different. It will be something that will be able to go on-site and go alongside the existing portfolio of products from 24 Seven. It's about being able to engage with the player base, it's about being able to do things differently" he explained.
